Thank you for using the „SEO Optimalizace Test“ browser extension (the „Extension“). This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use our Extension. Our core philosophy is simple: We do not collect, store, or sell your data.
1. Data Collection and Processing
The Extension is designed to operate entirely locally within your browser. When activated by clicking the extension icon, it analyzes the DOM (HTML code) of the currently active tab to generate an On-Page SEO audit, check keyword presence, and asynchronously verify the status of internal links (404 checks).
We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, IP addresses, tracking identifiers, or browsing history to any third-party servers. All processing occurs strictly on your local device.
2. Required Permissions Explained
To function properly, the Extension requests the following permissions. These are used strictly for local analysis:
- activeTab: Enables the extension to temporarily read the DOM of the current tab only when you explicitly click the extension icon. This prevents any background tracking and is used solely to generate the SEO audit and perform local 404 link verification.
- scripting: Used exclusively to visually inject a temporary CSS snippet into the active tab to highlight dofollow/nofollow links when triggered by the user via the „Visual Link Audit“ button.
- Host Permissions (http://*/*, https://*/*): Required exclusively for the internal link checker to perform asynchronous
fetch()requests to test for broken 404 links on the audited domain without being blocked by browser CORS security policies.
3. Third-Party Services
This Extension does not integrate any external APIs, analytics trackers, or third-party tracking software (such as Google Analytics) to monitor your usage of the Extension.
